Who we are

Our consultants are experts in data-led decision making, going beyond top-level recommendations to empower decision makers with end-to-end data strategies.

A diverse group of strategic thinkers, we work laterally to bring together detailed numerical insight and big-picture strategic context.

Traditional consulting options typically include strategy consultants or data scientists, working in siloes, with important insight lost at each handover stage – at DVS, no potential is left behind. David Whitcombe

Managing Director

  • Ten years consulting experience at IBM, OC&C and DVS
  • My favourite projects always have an element of price optimisation and experimentation
  • Running a startup gives me just enough free time to also Lead a local Scout Group – helping a team of 20 adults to deliver skills for life for over 50 Bermondsey young people

Ciro García Agulló

Manager

  • Experienced Strategist having worked in both strategy consulting and in-house strategy at Monitor Deloitte and SellerX respectively
  • I have deep domain expertise in e-commerce and the Amazon space from my time at SellerX, an Amazon aggregator
  • When not at work you can find me watching an F1 race; supporting Real Madrid; or playing tennis, pádel or football

Isaac Waby

Manager

  • Strategy and analytics expert with deep experience in B2B SaaS, Services and TMT
  • I’ve delivered dozens of strategy projects and successful CDDs across TMT and B2B services for PE clients
  • In my free time, I enjoy countryside walks and nice views, as well as working on (and talking about) my car

Patrick Duffy

Manager

  • Five years of consulting experience at QuantSpark and DVS, focussing on foundational & commercial analytics projects for Private Equity backed businesses
  • At DVS I focus on developing our proposition for building data platforms for our B2B SaaS clients
  • I can be found playing football on Hackney Marshes, cricket in Southwark or gardening

Gabriella Fryman

Finance and Operations Lead

  • Ten years of finance experience ranging from Audit and Operational Finance to Financial Planning and Analysis
  • In my free time I enjoy chasing my dog around the woods and baking (usually something with chocolate)

Thyrsos Makloklas

Senior Consultant

  • Five years experience at KPMG and DVS in data engineering and business intelligence across multiple sectors
  • Leads our growing Technology and Data Tools capability
  • On the weekends you can find him playing bass, guitar, video games and building scale models

Jonathan Yang

Consultant

  • Two years of consulting experience at Strategy& (PwC)
  • I have experience in commercial and vendor due diligence for financial services and tech companies
  • Outside of work you can find me gaming, lacing up my running shoes or building model Gunpla

Vithushan Nuges

Consultant

  • Three years at Deloitte within their Data Analytics team
  • Deep technical experience in dashboard production and demand forecasting analytics
  • I am passionate about Training and upskilling and lead our training strategy and function team

George Stevenson

Associate Consultant

  • One and a half years experience at Capgemini as a Data Engineer
  • I have worked with multiple ELT, ETL and cloud tools for Data Modelling and Data Integration
  • In my free time I enjoy all things football, particularly Leeds United and London Underground Trivia

Nikolay Pogudin

Associate Consultant

  • Trained in business analytics, finance and management at UCL and KCL
  • Knowledgeable in credit default risk modelling and cross border go-to-market strategy in telehealth
  • When not working on my strategy I can be found cheering on Fulham FC, watching F1, cycling or playing tennis

  • Joining DVS as a graduate, having completed a year placement in Accenture consulting
  • BSc Economics Exeter with three Dean’s List appearances (>95th percentile of cohort)
  • In my free time you can find me on a badminton court, at the gym, watching F1 races, or enjoying live music at concerts

  • Joining DVS as a graduate, having previously interned at PepsiCo in RevOps
  • MSc Economics & Strategy at Imperial
  • Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cricket and writing

  • Joining DVS as a graduate, with sales experience in solar energy and edtech
  • MSc Business Analytics at UCL
  • In my free time, I enjoy watching football, collecting streetwear and unwinding at home in Barcelona
