The situation.

A B2B business generated significant volumes of valuable data through its core operations and wanted to understand the quality of that data and the opportunities to monetise it through current or new customers.

The process.

We ran a series of workshops to map potential applications, from enhanced customer-success dashboards through to publishing market reports from proprietary data sets, and conducted a data audit to confirm the frequency and accuracy of the data. We recommended re-platforming the core data offering to maximise accuracy and uptime.

The outcome.

We identified opportunities to reduce churn by 20% alongside multi-million-pound upside from simple market reporting. The client has since completed the re-platforming and is building proof-of-concept tools to monetise data with clients, with product expansion now a key part of the equity story late in the hold cycle.
