A buy-and-build technology group needed consistent, group-wide ARR reporting to uncover opportunities. The key challenge was applying standardised revenue tagging and KPI calculations across multiple entities in several regions.
We created a data pipeline to ingest billings data from source systems into a centralised Fabric warehouse, then defined and implemented engineering rules to standardise inputs and calculate KPIs. We validated customer churn, downsell, upsell and new-business events so that GRR and NRR represented the truth.
The group gained a full reporting suite covering ARR metrics with the ability to drill into customer and product-level movements, automated pipelines that enable monthly board reporting with minimal manual effort, and go-forward invoicing processes to keep reporting accurate.
